Obligatory First Blog Post & Disclaimer

I don't speak French.

Welcome to the very first post on this brand new endeavour.

I've written in various places over the past decade. Blogger, Medium, WordPress. I even had a MySpace at one point. I'm old enough that I had a MySpace, but young enough that I had to lie when it asked me if I was 13 at sign up.

Although I've written in a few different places, I've never felt great about any of them. I guess I always wanted a little place of my own to blab my thoughts out. A personal area of the internet to write about writing, or books I liked (or didn't like, trips I've taken and want to reminisce. Or memories I want to get out so I can look back on them.

My blogging has always been off the dome. And sometimes, pretty random.

Recently, I finished my first novel. Well, I finished my first novel that I want to share with the world. It's called Jimmy James and the Circus of Wonders! And I'm really proud of it.

Finishing my first novel inspired me to finally get my own little corner of the internet. So here we are.

Also, let's add a disclaimer in this first post.

Don't take anything I say here that seriously. It's a random blog on the internet dude, dudette or other. I just used the word dudette. So chill. If I write about something financial, it's not advice. If I write about writing, it's not advice. It's my own thoughts and ramblings.
